Water – Benefits

  • Water helps regulate our body temperatures through perspiration
  • We need water to breath;  we lose 1-2 pints of water during exhaling
  • In asthmatics, histamine level increases with dehydration
  • Water helps the kidneys remove wastes such as uric acid, urea and lactic acid
  • Water lubricates our joints
  • Rheumatoid joint pain frequently decreases with increase water intake
  • Depression and chronic fatigue syndrome are frequently results of  dehydration
  • Migraine headaches may be caused by dehydration
